Review – Atticus for the Undead by John Abramowitz

Published February 4, 2012 by Lorraine Nelson - Author

Tonight I had the pleasure of reading a new author and I must say, I’m impressed. I enjoy legal thrillers…John Grisham being one of my favorite authors. Paranormal, not so much, but this book is a splendid mix of the two.

When John sent me this book to review he brazenly stated, “I’m fairly confident that if you start this one, you won’t be able to stop. :)” I thought, okay, we’ll see. Well, I’m happy to say he was absolutely right! I received it at one o’clock this morning, intending to read it tomorrow. Yeah, right! It is now five-twenty in the morning and I just finished it. Yes, it was that good.

Hunter Gamble is a lawyer who makes a living from defending arcanes—paranormals, who are allowed to co-exist with humans in his world. And he’s very good at it.

Samuel Pollard is a zombie accused of murder and he hires Hunter to defend him. So begins a fast-paced, haunting tale of unforgettable drama—one you won’t want to put down.

John Abramowitz has written a futuristic version of legal thriller mixed with paranormal. This novel is one of the best I’ve read in years. It’s looking like Mr. Abramowitz has a brilliant writing career ahead of him.

Thank you, John, for allowing me to read and review your work.

Atticus for the Undead can be purchased at Amazon.
