Happy New year!!!

This is the day we all make those New Year’s resolutions. Whether it be to lose weight, set a goal of some kind, or whatever. Mine is to quit smoking. I’ve been a smoker for many years and I know it’s not going to be easy, but I’m hoping that by posting my intentions here that you’ll hold me accountable. If you’re a praying person, please pray for the Lord to give me the strength to see this through. Thank you.

I’m currently working on the seventh book in my Thunder Creek Ranch series, Kidnapped! The Search for Casey, Lynne’s story. As with the other books in this series, the family bonds tighten as they work together to bring Casey back home. Then it’s on to #8, James Grayson’s story and #9, Abby Kerrigan’s story. The series will end this year with A Manning Christmas in late fall. A total of 10 books.

Now, on to the blog hop. It runs from today through January 4th. We have several blogs linked for your convenience. So hop around and get your entries in. The more blogs you comment on, the more chances you have to win. P.S. Don’t just copy and paste or you may be disqualified. Answer the questions and best of luck.

  • Next generations can be interesting. But my first thought was ‘why not just the decendents, like scifi gen’ Im random like that though. As for resolutions I have quiet a few. I want to become independent, and maybe get a boyfriend.

  • The only resolution I do is to start the new year with a fresh outlook on life. Some years are easier than others. It helps me focus on what I want to accomplish instead of the failures of the past year.
    Happy New Year!

  • I’m sorry I haven’t read your books yet and as usual I far behind in my reading. I don’t make New Years resolutions but I just want to read more, relax and try to not get too stressed this year.

  • I haven’t read your books but if you have more stories to tell then you should write them. If not, time for a new series.
I don’t make resolutions any more.

  • I have some of your books on my TBR list. I’d say start a new series or make the new series seemingly independent from the other. It’s hard to start reading a series when you feel you have to read a bunch of books to catch up.

As to goals I want to stay on my daily exercise program.

  • Goals seem to be more doable for me, currently get a full-time job. Haven’t read any of your books but looks like an interesting series. Added the first to my wishlist. Write what stories interest you, even try exploring new territory if that’s what comes to you. Good luck with quitting smoking.

  • I have not read your series yet, but I am a series reader, so I would say that it is a good idea to write another one. 🙂
One of my resolutions is to feed my family healthier meals. I started it this year, but would like to do it more often and cut out the junk. Lol.
Thank you for participating in the hop.
